The Flying Circus Route 66 Endurance Flight! Save the date! On Friday October 27th from 17:00z we embark on a massive flight across the USA. Chicago to LA covering some 2000 miles with 9 stops!

I am planning for about 12 hours from start to finish so make sure you are all set, batteries charged, chores completed, tasty beverage and snacks ready and get comfy to settle in to an epic flight of almost 2000 miles! It was this very Route 66 event back in 2020 that gave the name to our group of pilots - The Fireflies!

There will be a unique FireFly Air achievement to be unlocked for pilots who complete all stages of this flight. If you can’t complete the entire flight in one sitting, the event will remain live over the weekend. I will also have some prizes to giveaway during the stream!

Today saw our first community VATSIM event. A VFR fly-in to Shannon. Many thanks to the team at VATeir for all your support. We had 10 pilots complete their first VATSIM flights in MSFS. Part 2 of this event is coming up Tuesday June 20th from 19:00z
