Truly amazing to see the Aurora last Friday night, so beautiful and equaly epic, biggest solar storm to hit in over 20 years. So cool that so many people got to witness and enjoy them including my wife Teresa, her first time seeing them and it was at a G5.
Mans Best Friend 😀 had this one for company last Friday night on a failed Aurora shoot at Clonmacnoise, Co. Offaly. This is a 4 second shot, and he stayed so still to my amazment, fill light from my phone and of course the moon.

Thank you to members of Midlands Astronomy Club and Tullamore Camera Club who also attended and guest speakers including Sean McKenna, Cllr. Sean O'Brien and Minister Pippa Hackett.
It was so nice to see a great turnout for my 1st solo exhibition, thanks again for all the wonderful comments and messages of support. Its greatly appreciated.
The exhibition runs throughout December and will now also run into January.

Yesterday afternoon I held a photography workshop with Offaly Local Development Company in Lough Boora Discovery Park, thank you to everyone who was able to attend.
I returned last night to witness an incredible show, the northern lights. I could see the pilars with naked eye, albeit not as vibrant as what a camera can capture but still an amazing sight.
Well that was different, thanks to RTE Radio 1 for having me on to speak about last nights Aurora, it was some show, one of the very best Iv seen. Images to follow 📸👍

This is the first in a series of workshops over the coming year that will lead to the development of a community-built calendar, that will have pride of place in homes, community spaces and business across Offaly for the year 2025.

Congratulations to Tullamore Musical Society on a fantastic show, as they staged Michael Collins, A Musical Drama at Esker Arts Centre Tullamore . I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed shooting this show, It had it all, amazing production.
