UCDTV stands with and the people of Palestine, locally and globally. We cannot stay complicit to genocide, and we aim to work closely with to broadcast and support their work within the coming weeks. UCDTV wishes to state our solidarity with Palestine as their land has been unrightfully occupied and destroyed.
We are supporting to ensure that demands will be met from UCD to Boycott, Divest, and Sanction. We are demanding UCD to condemn Israel’s genocide on Palestine. 🇵🇸 🍉

WELL WELL WELL if it isn’t finally time for our 2nd Annual Film Festival tomorrow on Wednesday the 10th of April at 6PM in Newman Theatre M!!

Yes it’s true, the day has finally come and we’re all outta bubblegum. Come enjoy over 2.5 hours of student films of all genres. From documentaries to romcoms, horror films and heist movies to abstract comedies and dramas, this festival’s got it all!

The price of admission is (GASP) FREE????? We know you’re as broke as we are and procrastinating your assignments almost as much, so come join us for films and the inevitable mid-week pints afterwards.

OH WE ARE SO BACK!!!! We’re proud to once again present our surprise HIT event from last semester, our phone-fest film contest!!
If you weren’t there last time, the premise is simple: come in, pick a 1-2 minute scene of your choosing, and then in groups of 3-4 each of you has 20 minutes to direct your scene!
The scenes will be projected on Thursday 1st before our society night out, and the winner(s) get a (lil) prize!

After the incredible success of its debut last year, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of our SECOND student led film festival here at UCDTV – and we want YOU to be a part of it!

Just like before, we’re seeking submissions in all genres and styles, be it fiction, documentary, animation, or experimental. If you’ve got a film that showcases your unique perspective, we want to see it!

This film festival is an incredible opportunity for every UCD student to unleash their creativity and share their vision with a wider audience. Selected films will be featured in the festival, and one lucky filmmaker will be walking away with the highly coveted golden clapper!

If you thought last years festival was good, you ain’t seen nothing yet! We can’t wait to see the amazing stories, perspectives, and creativity that you’ll bring to the screen.

HELLO! It’s out last week and boy howdy is there a lot going on! On Wednesday, we’ve got a screenwriting workshop, so be sure to stop by if you want to learn the basics of that! Also, on Thursday, we’ve got our usual coffee morning and production club, but we’ll also be heading to farmer brown’s in clonskeagh at 6 for a few drinks in honour of UCD Christmas.
