It's fantastic to look back over the years and congratulate the people who have made Sligo such a great foodie destination. Margaret Heffernan got the ball rolling. We have fond memories as Odilon Hunt got involved with Só Sligo which included the Sligo Town Food Trails and Pop up markets in Stephen Street Car Park, now the wonderful Queen Maeve's Square. A National Day of Commemoration Service to honour Irishmen and Irishwomen who died in past wars or on service with the United Nations is being held in Sligo this afternoon. The annual event is hosted on the Sunday nearest to July 11th, the anniversary of the date in 1921 when a truce was signed to end the Irish War of Independence.

A lot of people don't know that AVA provides a Video Production service. It's something we often do for Conferences or for live streams and online/hybrid conferences. Here's a video we made a few years ago for the Waste Enforcement Regional Lead Authorities (WERLA).
