Unit 5 is closing.

My lease isn't being renewed so unit 5 is moving to another location.
This page name and logo and cover photo will change in the next few days so a gentle heads up for everyone.

Moving studio means sorting and packing and lifting, lots of lifting.
The amount of stuff that I've found!!

I have a large amount of things I've accumulated over the years that I'd love to pass along to clients and friends over the next few weeks.
I also have a lot of left over rider to get rid of too...

I'll organise a going away/housewarming shindig where we can do both.

Good news today about the extension of the closing date for mebas applications.

Now closes on 21/7/21 at 1pm

Mebas is a one off grant directed at musicians, djs, crew and other entertainment industry staff whos earnings have been effected by covid.

If you made more than €20,000 in 2019 before vat and deductions and are paying out more than €3000 in business costs to keep your business afloat...
(e.g. rent, insurance, purchases, training, vehicle costs, phone etc etc) ..then you qualify.

Its an easy, fast application and if anyone needs any advice, I'm happy to help.

Please share this post to anyone you know who you think this would benefit.

We are beyond disappointed at the latest restrictions to our industry highlighted here.

Musicians and crew have been treated very badly by the government with extremely limited and meaningless supports and zero planning for reopening our industry.

You can put hundreds of people together in factories, schools and shopping centres but no live music, anywhere.

15 months out of work.
15 months waiting for a plan.
15 months of frustration.
