TIME FOR A SHEAR! In aid of the wonderful Cuisle Cancer Support Centre based in Portlaoise a live head shave will be held on Saturday the 1st of March from 9pm with DJ till late and food on the night. The event takes place in O' Murchù's Bar at The Castle Arms Hotel in Durrow. Joan from Inch Hair Design Hairdressers has kindly offered her shearing services on the night! All donations greatly appreciated for this truly worthy charity, who has helped so many people suffering and their families. This decision was made following official advice to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants
during the current weather warnings.
We had to make the difficult decision to cancel the event. We know how much you were looking forward Winter Walking Festival and we’re truly sorry to disappoint you.
We understand the time and effort you’ve likely put into planning for this event, and we don’t take this decision lightly. We are hugely grateful for the support and look forward to welcoming you all back to the Glen of Aherlow and our walking events in the near future.
Refunds: We’re doing everything in our power to make the refund process as smooth and hassle-free
as possible for you. All bookings will receive a full refund back from Stripe. The refund will be

A big thank you to The Fig Tree in Bansha for everything they did for people during the bad weather last week.

Usha and her team brought hot meals and hot water to people in Bansha, charged their phones and even visited elderly people who's carers couldn't get to them.

They were fantastic and without them a lot of people in Bansha would have had no food or hot water. She even filled up hot water bottles for people.

Well done Usha and all in the Fig Tree.
