The Kilshanna Music Studio was established in Kilshanna, in September 1998, by Pearl Robinson. When Kilshanna Music Studio opened originally it focused mainly on Piano and singing lessons but soon grew to include other disciplines to become Kilshanna Music, Arts & Drama Studio. Kilshanna is a group of like minded fully qualified professional teachers who's main aim is creating the love of the arts

in each student through a fun and exciting atmosphere. The studio now has moved its lessons to Forrest Hall which enhances their dance, drama and musical theatre classes while continuing the studio ethos of keeping the classes small to allow each student to receive individual attention and to shine. The Kilshanna Music Studio has maintained a reputation for excellence since its establishment in 1998, each year, a number of students from Kilshanna have been nominated for The Leinster School of Music, Arts & Drama Excellence Awards, a tribute to the high standard of tutelage that the school offers. Numerous music, drama and vocal students have been awarded prizes in the National Leinster School Excellence Awards throughout the years along with a number of them achieving the overall prizes in both the junior and senior categories. Kilshanna students are regularly featured among the top prizewinners in Feis Ceoil Dublin, Feis Maitiu Corcaigh, Feis Sligo, Feile Luimnigh, Arklow Festival, Kilkenny Arts Festival, AIMS Festival and Navan Choral Festival. Kilshanna students have starred in numerous shows and concerts students regularly featured on local and national media including The Late Late Toy Show. Kilshanna teachers cover the Leinster School of Music & Drama, Royal Irish Academy, London College of Music and Associated Board examinations, also providing Leaving Certificate practical and theory lessons. A number of senior Kilshanna students are currently teaching having completed diplomas in music and drama teaching while others have continued their studies to create careers on stage, in the music industry and on TV at home and abroad. A Brief History of Kilshanna Music Studio

Pearl Robinson established the Kilshanna Music Studio in Kilshanna, in September 1998. The school moved to 9 King Street in January 2000, it now has moved to Forrest Hall in Mitchelstown in January 2016.

When Kilshanna Music Studio opened originally it focused mainly on piano and vocal lessons but soon developed in other disciplines to become Kilshanna Music, Art & Drama Studio.
