One of Ireland’s most celebrated pianists, Finghin’s career spans performances with world-class orchestras and recitals at iconic venues like Carnegie Hall and Wigmore Hall. He’s also a driving force behind Irish music, leading festivals like Music for Galway and the New Ross Piano Festival. Finghin is committed to promoting new music and has worked closely with composers to bring fresh works to audiences. In recognition of his incredible contributions to music, the National University of Ireland awarded him an honorary Doctor of Music degree in 2017. Finghin also has a passion for chamber music and regularly collaborates with other top musicians at festivals around the world. Don’t miss this chance to hear Finghin share insights into his career, his love of music, and his plans for the Midwinter Festival. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get to know the Artistic Director behind this exciting celebration of Ravel’s music.

The Midwinter Festival is presented in partnership with the University of Galway and the Embassy of Switzerland in Ireland.
