🎭This year Listowel Drama Group are celebrating their 80th year of drama. To celebrate this marvellous achievement they will be performing John B. Keane’s infamous ‘Big Maggie’. The play will run from March 2nd- 6th in St. John’s Listowel.

🌟But that isn’t the best bit…..who will be donning the stage only our own Mrs. Tina O’Connell!! We have no doubt that Tina will make the role of ‘Kate Polpin’ her own and we are very excited to see her perform!

👏🏻We wish Tina and the whole group the very best of luck!

Break a leg Tina….actually don’t because we need you back in one piece 🤣🤣

We in Fís na hÓige are absolutely thrilled that the 3 movies that we shot during Movie Week '23, have been selected to be screened at this year's Fresh Film Festival in Cork on March 6th.
I am so proud of these young people and of what they've achieved. These movies, "The Case of '78"; "Reversed Roles" and our first animated movie "The Satanists", are testament to the talent, ability and creativity rampant in these young people.
So a huge "WELL DONE" to all involved. We must also recognize the incredible help and support we get from the community, our mentors, St. John's Theatre, Listowel Drama Group, Kerry Co. Co., the ETB, Young Irish Film Makers, Animation Ireland, The Arms hotel, John Whelan, Anthony Kearney of Kearney Images and one of Kerry's finest actors, Tim Landers, who was an inspiration to all with his wonderful in put.
So, ROCK ON, FNH!!! Here's to our continued success.

And that’s a wrap on 2023! We have had a brilliant year and are looking forward to a busy 2024! We celebrated the end of 2023 yesterday with a Christmas party, which was enjoyed by all. We would like to say a special thank you to Máire Logue and St. John’s for their continuous support throughout the year! And of course thank you to all the parents and our wonderful audiences for their support! Have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!!! 🎅🎄

Sending a huge "THANK YOU" to Kerry's finest performer of stage and screen; Tim Landers!!! An actor of note and immense talent, his contribution to our "Movie Week" cannot be measured. Not only did we get an incredible performance from Tim but he took time to work with our young film makers on acting in front of camera and giving them the benefit of his experience.
Having people like Tim taking the time and making a huge effort to work on projects like this is so encouraging and gives all of us in Fnh such a boost.

Movie week 2023 in full swing here St John's Theatre & Arts Centre!
