Irishbythegraceofgod

Irishbythegraceofgod Podcast for ordinary Irish people around the world with extraordinary stories to tell. If you are Irish and living abroad we want to hear your story.

Irish people are found in every nook and cranny of the world – from Kathmandu to Alaska. Their influence and likeability is renowned and we’re guessing that they all have a story to tell. Whether it is uplifting, sad or heroic they all have one thing in common – they are interesting.

I wish there was some incentive to get small, family run shops back into Limerick city and make it the vibrant, joyful place it was back in the 60s and 70s.
Putting all those multiples (B&Q, etc) miles outside Limerick was a big big mistake.
If one of the Mayoral candidates made that one of their campaign strategies in the upcoming June election I bet they would walk in.
Just needs someone with the appetite to take it on!

IrishByTheGraceOfGod conducted a great interview with John McDonagh. Born in Donegal but living in Queens since a child. A very very colourful character. John had some harsh words to say about my home town of Limerick regarding their recognition of Frank and Malachy McCourt...watch this video....

So what do you think? Has he a valid point?
