In the last couple of weeks 2 international productions I worked on were broadcast on Arte, a German/ French TV channel. I acted as local producer on both. The first to be broadcast was a 33 minute documentary on Lisdoonvarna and Willie Daly.

My local knowledge contacts and experience were invaluable to the German TV crew, who filmed in the area for 2 weeks. Probably one of the most comprehensive programmes to be made about the festival in recent years.

The programme featured the North Clare area, as well as the Aran Islands. Great to get this exposure for the area.

Thanks to Killeen from the IrishCentral for penning this wonderful article about my short film on the dancing couples of Lisdoonvarna.

I have been involved in PR for the festival for the past number of years and I always wanted to make a film about the dancing traditions and the wonderful couples who grace the dance floors. Thanks to Creative Ireland for their support.

"A love story from Lisdoonvarna about a very special couple and their passion for dancing!"

The accolades for the Burren region keep coming, now Gregans Castle Hotel has received a fantastic review in the Irish Independent by food writer Katy McGuinness.

The region is famous for it's rich variety of food products sourced from the land, the wild Atlantic ocean and the natural farmland of the fertile rock of the Burren.

The hotel sources many of its salads, vegetables and herbs from a garden on site.

Recently worked with Rita Davern an inspiring film maker from the US whose quest to find out more about her past resulted in an award winning documentary called Burren Girl. Rita was in Doolin last week for the Irish premiere which saw Davorens from both sides of the Atlantic come to together, many for the first time.

Articles were published in the Irish Farmers Journal as well as in local press, and radio documentary on Clare FM.
