Very late posting this…. but thanks to everyone for all the well wishes on our SIX nominations at this years National Student Media Awards ⭐️👏🏻 SIN’s Tom O’Connor came away with a fantastic win in one of those categories, and we couldn’t be happier for him! 🏆 Galway students gained the most wins across the board, meaning a great day for student journalism here!! 👏🏻

Congrats to all the SIN nominees- especially Chloe Richardson, Scott Stephens, Darragh Nolan and Valerie McHugh who bagged individual nominations - and to the entire SIN team who propelled the paper to a ‘Newspaper of the Year’ nomination 🗞️

Also a special well done to last year’s Galway Pulse team who won in two categories too! 🏆🏆We work really closely with Pulse, and our former editor Mark Lynch was at the helm of that project.💪🏻 Well done all 🤗

This jam-packed issue has been in the works for 6 months, and we’ve been honoured to encapsulate what life is like for Galway students and staff in the past, present and future in it.
