CLARE FM - CATCHUP: Bridgetown Mother Appeals For Donations To Help Fund Expenses For Daughter’s Illness

A Clare mother is appealing for donations to help with expenses for her daughter, who was recently diagnosed with brain and spine cancer.

Louise Whitehead, who is from Bridgetown, is making the appeal to the public after her 31-year-old daughter Rachael was recently diagnosed with the rare form of cancer.

It has been a difficult time for the Whitehead family, with Louise herself recovering from a stroke.

She and Rachael’s partner, Alan Kennedy have set up a fundraising page to assist with expenses.
