The parents of a severely autistic nine-year-old boy have told RTÉ's Prime Time they fear for their family’s safety due to a lack of help for their son.

They highlight the critical need for support and services for children like their son and their desperate families.

Audrey Dore-Geraghty and her husband Huw are afraid of their son Harrison, who is severely autistic, and what could happen to him.

"Now he's nine and the hits are harder, the bites are stronger, the kicks are stronger, the risk to the other children is massive, and we know that he's growing."
