Our last trip before Christmas! We flew from Dublin to Brussels in Belgium. We had to fit in a couple of Christmas markets because we love them. We flew with Ryanair and got really cheap flights because we booked them in advance and opted for the 6:00 am flight 😴. The flight from Dublin to Brussels is 1 hour and 40 minutes.We stayed at the nhow Brussels Hotel, and it was fabulous! This has to be one of the dreamiest places we’ve ever stayed. The Northern Lights Ranch in Lapland, Finland is pure magic. ✨❄️Just a 20-minute drive from Levi, you’ll find these gorgeous little glass cabins tucked away in the middle of the snowy wilderness. It’s like stepping into a winter fairytale. Each cabin has huge open windows in the bedroom and sitting room, so whether you’re snuggled up in bed or chilling out, you’re surrounded by the most incredible views of the snow-covered landscape. The best part? The glass roof above the bed. If the Northern Lights make an appearance, you get to watch them dance across the sky, right from under your duvet. Unfortunately, the skies were too snowy for us to see the lights, but honestly, it didn’t take away from the experience at all. You can’t control nature, and having everything blanketed in snow made it all the more magical. ☃️ Staying here has inspired us so much. It’s made us dream of having our own little cabin like this someday, a bucket list goal we’re holding onto even tighter now. One thing you absolutely need to add to your Lapland itinerary is a husky dog sleigh ride! We booked with @bearhillhusky and it was such an incredible experience. They offer a variety of tours, so check out their Instagram or website for pricing and details on the one that suits you best. This adventure was located about 20 minutes from Rovaniemi. We had a hire car, which made getting there super convenient. If you don’t have a car, pick-ups can be arranged. We rented our car through discovercars.com and got an amazing deal for six days. Any car hire in Lapland will come with snow tyres, and driving on snowy roads was straightforward and easier than we expected. We spent 6 days in Lapland, Finland, and here’s an idea of what you can do at The Santa Claus Village👌How long should you spend there?�We think 1–2 days is plenty to explore everything in Santa’s Village. There’s also another place called Snow World, but we didn’t include it here as it doesn’t open until the 6th of December. If you’re visiting during that time, it’s worth checking out, it looks amazing! Snow World features a massive snow maze, ice skating, snow tubing, ice bars, and more. Our reindeer ride was booked through @santaclausreindeer which is located right inside the village, you can’t miss it. Meeting Santa is free, and visiting Mrs. Claus is also free, but you can choose to buy the photos (we think it’s a must because, it’s from Lapland, why not😊) Pro Tip:�Definitely layer up, it’s really cold! We wore thermals under our clothes and then ski gear over them, and it was perfect. We could comfortably walk around and stay nice and toasty. We did the ultimate desert 4x4 safari tour in Dubai, and it was an incredible experience! This was booked through @dubaidesertgate Our driver picked us up from our hotel in a 4x4 jeep and took us about an hour away from the city to the stunning golden dunes. They were unbelievable! We raced around the dunes in the back of the 4x4, and the adrenaline rush was real!! We finished our night at a beautiful desert camp, where we had our own private cabana and were served endless amounts of delicious food. It was a proper feast! Various dances took place throughout the night on a big stage set up in the middle of the camp.
