Happy Oíche Shamhan 'Oíche' means 'night' in Irish and so Oíche Shamhna refers to Halloween night. Samhain (Sow-in) was a festival that marked the end of the harvest season in Ireland. It would be celebrated from midnight on the 31st of October to midnight on November 1st. A time when our deceased friends and relatives can be remembered as the veil between the realms is thin.

IRELAND Banning Education in Schools! We have a very high number of illiterate people who can't do online banking and Minister Foley plans to keep Ireland in the 19th century.
Minister for Education Foley has said she plans to ask second-level schools to ban students from using mobile phones during the school day.
Earlier today, the minister told journalists: "I am now in a space where I'm saying, looking to introduce a ban on the mobile phone at post-primary."
A spokesperson for the minister said Ms Foley would be writing to schools in the next week or two "to give advice and guidance" around mobile phone use "and her desire to have a ban on mobile phones in place".

Ireland's vision for 2040 as seen below!

Happy Independence Day USA: The scene of the surrender of the British General John Burgoyne at Saratoga, on October 17, 1777, was a turning point in the American Revolutionary War that prevented the British from dividing New England from the rest of the colonies. The central figure is the American General Horatio Gates, who refuses to take the sword offered by General Burgoyne, and, treating him as a gentleman, invites him into his tent. All of the figures in the scene are portraits of specific officers.
