Such a lovely buzz as always to work on this one, and much thanks to my great pal for pulling us in to help out!⁠ V proud friend moment seeing Matty put together such an epic weekend for us all to enjoy year in, and year out, alongside an excellent team of volunteers ❤️ ⁠

How lucky are we to get to experience such a lovely time!! Thank you so so much to all volunteers, vendors, demo/workshoppers, personnel and taste trail spots for all of the hard work that goes in, you truly are the ones! 🙃⁠

So delighted to have been included in such a stellar lineup of artists to celebrate 20 years of Other Voices. OV holds a v special spot in my heart, and honestly, I couldn't have been given a more nostalgic lyric to work with - this one brings me right back to 16year old feels in St James' Church. 🥲

Other Voices has created a truly unique sense of refuge for so many artists and revelers over the past 20years, and its connection to the far removed, rugged West Kerry landscape has always been something that has taken those artists aback, and given a feeling of isolation, and escape in the best possible way. 🙏🏼

This piece leans into the importance of, and the connection of the festival to that landscape, with repeated lyrics lining and morphing to the curves of the expansive Slea Head cliffside, giving the liberating feeling that many have felt on an Other Voices weekend, “reckless abandon, like no ones watching you". 🖤🖤

Limited edition run of prints is available to purchase from until Nov 26th (link in bio) , along with so many incredible pieces from the other 19 artists involved 💥 The breadth of styles in the series is insane, and honestly the talent in there is just 🔥🔥🔥

Lots of lovely new faces here so we wanted to say hellloooooo 👀👀❤️, and also tell you a little bit about us, our suppliers and how we give back. More info incoming over the next few days but for today, let’s chat suppliers.

👀 OUR SUPPLIERS 👀

We work with local, fellow small businesses as suppliers for printing and framing, in facttttttt all of our frames are handmade in Glenageary, and all prints are printed in small, made to order batches 👌🏼✨

This was SUUUUPER important for us, and especially when starting out in the first, rough lockdown of last year, the opportunity to share some business with some deadly Irish biz owners was a no brainer ❤️

Sharing is caring ya know, and tbh we just saw no other way we would be happy to operate!

⚡⚡ On a similar note, there was such a buzz last year to support local, and we really hope that this continues this festive season 🌲 Are you planning on shopping small/local? 👀

We wanted to share something a little bit different from our usual print-related posts today, to show you one of the most lovely projects we have worked on with Orna & Niamh from .ie earlier this year (delayyyyyyed post as it has been v busy!!). Move2B is a social enterprise based in Waterford whose mission is to use sport as an agent for change to empower girls across Ireland to realise their potential. 🙌🏼⁠
⁠
Move2B aims to create environments that lift girls up, and their online education platform is designed to do just this. ✨ According to Sport Ireland, just 7% of girls age 14-15 years meet recommended physical activity levels, which we know not only has an effect on physical health, but also social and emotional health. The programme highlights and deconstructs the benefits and barriers to physical activity, moving away from an emphasis on competitive participation and focuses on finding what works for the individual!👌🏼👌🏼⁠

Girls are SMART, so this gives them the resources and evidence-based information to help work with their own bodies to discover their athletic and personal potential!⁠

We created the brand identity for Move2B, which has a minimalist, but also warm, earthy feel, and invokes feelings of an outdoorsy and movement-based lifestyle. Natural elements such as water and the sun, along with the silhouetted outline of Mt. Brandon help emphasize the joy that can be found in moving in and enjoying the outdoors. 🙃🙃⁠

Like we said - a little bit different from our usual print-related posts but we really wanted to share Move2B with you, and the great work that Niamh and Orna are doing! Running a social enterprise is no mean feat, and DEADLY humans like these deserve to be supported and lifted up so that they can in turn do that for the young gals of Ireland ❤️⁠

We are so lucky that we have been super busy this year with similar client work, from brand identities to web design & creative marketing collateral for more of our lovely clients. ⁠

🌞 THE GLORIOUS TRÁ BÁN 🌞⁣⁣

We snapped our Trá Bán back in August of last year while on a day trip with , and honestly on what was just the most STUN day of the year ✨ ⁣⁣(Swipe for more snaps feat. the cutest human alive/my dad on what he thought was legit the best day ever 😭❤️)
⁣⁣
We have heard it x 1 million, but there really is nowhere like Ireland when that sun hits, and the Great Blasket is absolutely no exception. Naturally, on a day like this you really can't pick up on just how weather-exposed, and difficult it must have been for the many who called the island home. You can, however, FEEL the magic and otherworldly quality that exists there, and also get tropical virgin island vibes from the Trá Bán's mental white sand and total lack of other humans 😂 Highly recommend! ⁣⁣

Sooooooo as the summer is starting to creep ever closer, and the hope for potential adventures grows greater and greater, so does that hunger to get snapping more of the West Coast 👀 ⁣⁣

The past two days have felt infinitely brighter and more tolerable, and we are so here for it 😅 It sort of feels like because all we can do at the moment is get out for a walk and coffee x infinity, that this bout of sun is more appreciated by everyone than ever ❤🥰⁣⁣
