Since graduation from UCC and london college of Fashion, Tanya has worked in London in leading publications and positions such as Marie Claire magazine, Scene magazine, Beverley Cable Pr and as a press liaison for Slim Barrett, a leading Irish Jewellery maker based in the UK. ible for creating photoshoots from the original concept to production and art direction on the day of the shoot. Hiring a team of creatives to reflect the needs of the job and the client is all part of her service. Specialising in media awareness due to her journalistic background on what the shoot needs to reflect, in order to promote a brand further. She has also worked in conjunction with various buyers to ensure they are buying the key items that will get maximum press for the season. Other styling productions include those shot on foreign locations such as the Artic Circle, Malta, Monaco, Spain, France, London and Italy. Her editorial work spans most of Irelands leading publications such as The Gloss, Irish Tatler, Sunday Independent’s Life Magazine, U Magazine, Confetti, VIP magazine, Irish Tatler, The Irish Times, Social and Personal and the RTE Guide. Her journalistic and styling expertise has lead to many fashion roles in publications such as Deputy Editor of Prudence magazine, Fashion Editor of Ivenus, Harmonia’s online magazine and is currently the Fashion Editor of Irish Brides magazine and has been contributing as a fashion stylist and journalist for the Irish Times Fashion Supplement for the last 5 years. Tanya is also a regular TV and radio fashion contributor appearing as a regular on shows such as The Afternoon Show, Off the Rails, Four Live and the Fashion Expert on season 2 of the hugely popular weight loss show ‘Operation Transformation’ in 2009. Tanya also guests lectures in design colleges such as Griffith College and holds fashion workshops for the Portobello institute.
