Check out all of our Frontline Actors at this year’s Scene + Heard Festival at Smock Alley Theatre!

Elishka Lane appears in Leonora, 15th and 16th February, 2pm. Leonora is a WIP of a biopic about the Surrealist artist Leonora Carrington written and directed by Signe Lury.

Fiachra Corkery appears in DEAD MONKS on the 18th and 19th February, 9:45pm. “When a Viking ship appears on the horizon, three cowardly medieval monks face a life-and-death decision that swiftly unravels into chaos, self-reflection and betrayal.”

Kate Brosnan appears in a rehearsed reading of Síofra O’Meara’s new play, W*p Bop A Loo Bop A W*p Bom Bom. It will be directed by Simon Guiney. Showing on February 25th and 26th at 8:15pm.

Saorla Roger appears in P***O on the 28th February and 1st March 8pm. “All aboard the train to Sexy Town! Two hopefuls embark on a journey of sexual discovery… but they need your help to get off.”

Make sure to keep an eye out for our very own Bríd Ní Chumhaill in Aontas, by Damian McCann, which will premier in this years Dublin International Film Festival!

Aontas will premier on February 22nd, with the festival running from February 20th to March 2nd.

‘Aodh has started a new job he doesn’t believe in. There will be no negative consequences for himself, his family, or the country. Fan Linn.

Seift is a bi-lingual play about political grifting, the repurposing of language, and Irish identity. It’s about familial relationships, media narratives, and the concept of notions. As Aodh’s job mirrors a country with a collapsing image of itself, Seift seeks to ask when exactly are we going to do anything to change it?

Join Scaoilte Theatre as they share a rehearsed reading of this new play, on Friday November 15th at 8pm at the Roscommon Arts Centre, followed by a Q&A discussion.’
