ɴᴇᴡ ᴀʟɪᴀs 🤍

Towards the end of 2019, beginning of 2020 I decided to step back from my music career which was a hard decision to make at the time.

As 'Emma Jai' I had an agent & manager and was signed to several labels. I was resident DJ in Ibiza, toured the states the middle east played for big names and was making my way up the festival line ups. My music at the time clocked the beatport Top 10 and collectively had over 3M+ streams. Yet I wasn't happy.

It all became too much!
Too much pressure too much "How many plays have I got" "How many gigs do I have coming up" "Where am I clocking in the chart" "What's my agent saying" * * * it goes on 🙈

I noticed I was out of alignment with who I was It had stopped being about what I loved doing . . Which is playing music and making people dance. I know there is a business aspect to the industry but I got way too caught up in that and forgot my core fundamentals . . Music 💃

This desire and passion for music was still inside me no matter how much I tried moving on I just kept being called back to my heart and love for what I once knew.

So here we are under a new alias bringing it back to the music here's to new beginnings and new aligned timelines 🤍
