Based in Dublin, Absys Records has been championing the deep, futuristic sounds of atmospheric drum & bass since its birth in 2008. Initially founded to showcase the sounds of a selection of lesser-known producers , Absys quickly built a reputation synonymous with quality through its series of free digital releases. The last three years have seen releases by such pioneering and diverse producers a

s Anile, Dissident / Kontext, Nuage, Hatti Vatti, Hidden Element, Joe Syntax, Mortem, Loxy & Resound, Naibu, Hatti Vatti, ASC, Es.tereo, Fre4knc, Gremlinz, Arp Xp, Mr Sizef, Radicall, Future Engineers, Lm1, Adi Sharma amongst many more, and have cemented Absys’ reputation amongst the upper echelons of experimental drum & bass and electronic music. Alongside a strong back catalogue of artistry by emergent graphic designers, Absys has refused to compromise on its visual and aural integrity, with limited edition prints being made available of the best designs. The painstaking care taken over the curation of Absys releases has served to solidify their two-prong aesthetic and endeared them to many of the scene’s most discerning listeners. Watch out for future releases and many more, as Absys continues to broaden the horizons of 170bpm and 140bpm music and its peripheral sounds.

We’re back at the amazing Racket Space / Bernard Shaw on Sunday 9th March for another vinyl market where a handful of our best traders will be joining us and packing out the venue with thousands of records. All tastes covered!

We are excited to announce a very different evening of balearic jazz ambient performance by .hattivatti who recently launched a full album through the renowned . Over the years, Hatti Vatti has also released a couple of songs and vinyl records via Absys.

The support are two local heroes: 100 Poems, a project by Dublin musician Mike Wilson known for tunes, remixes, and collaborations. Mike has achieved global success with three consecutive No. 1 Balearic album this year.

Additionally, has been creating unique sounds for 23 years, earning awards for their innovative use of tapes and effects in their recent shows.
