Khankra is a Dublin born DJ & Producer and is a founding member of Fusion Underground

Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, Khankra’s passion for electronic music started at a young age and continued to evolve with time. Khankra’s roots have always been entwined in hypnotic grooves, rolling basslines and driving melodies. At 17, after purchasing a set of 1210’s, Khankra began forging name for himself in the Dublin scene, playing at nights across some of the City’s best clubs, like Tripod,

The Pod, The Button Factory, Traffic, Mono and Spirit. After somewhat of a hiatus from the scene, in 2014 Khankra had the opportunity to warm up for industry icon, and person hero, Sasha at The Button Factory. Following this, Khankra teamed up with the Melodic Residents and handed the headphones over to some other industry legends during this time, including Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger, Los Soruba, The Drifter and Guy J on a number of memorable occasions. In late 2019, Khankra teamed up with DJ’s Glenn Molloy, Soulfinder and Ger Bozyk to form Fusion Underground. Since then the group have started the Fusion Underground Mix series, which has had some excellent support across the industry and continues to grow. Khankra has a number of Production projects in play, looking to add to his excellent releases on Compatible Records. We should also expect to see Khankra and some top acts playing at Fusion Underground gigs in the near future!

Probably the best mix I've done in 4 or 5 years. Helps that there is a ridiculous amount of breathtaking music out there. You'll find Jamie Stevens, GHEIST Stereo Underground Four Candles Antrim Kasey Taylor Jonathan Kaspar on this one - with a cheeky Jon Fugler - Fluke re-edit of Bullet to open proceedings.

COMPATIBLE 4 MUSIC ( Various Artist Label 4th Anniversary )

My new track, 'Drifting' under my Khankra moniker is featured on the fantastic Compatible 4 Music compilation, which will be released on Sebastian Markiewicz's Compatible Music on Feb 13th!!! Receiving a lot of support on the track already. The compilation is packed with great tunes from start to finish - please take a listen on the link below and share/support if you like...

The momentum of Compatible Music shows no sign of decrease, with further championing in recent months from John Digweed via his live sets and Transitions radio shows.
'Compatible 4 Music' is a first foray into the realm of compilations and bears testament to our evolution and blossoming family of artists.
Label favourites including Phil Kix, Breccia, Hansgod, Confute and MAM deliver anew, masterfully bolstered by supplementary contributions from new arrivals Criss Deeper and Khankra. The icing on the collo-cake comes courtesy of our most prolific, label head Sebastian Markiewicz.
A plethora of far-reaching electronic music is the result, varied yet aptly juxtaposed. An onslaught of house, techno and melodic meanderings are a reminder of our philosophy of delivering genre-denying quality music.
