Someone shared this video on a page I belong to, so I decided to click on my own video and watch it again. I realized that it now has 10,000 views on YouTube! It's not 100,000 views, but I am very proud of myself, knowing that my decision to record my first video has helped over 10,000 overseas nurses. I remember the battle I went through to pull myself together and start this new journey. I was so scared to start content creation with many questions in my mind: What if I fail? What if people laugh at me?
After a church service at All Nations Church in Dublin, I decided to start no matter what. Pastor David spoke about "Dare to Dream and facing your fears “. He used his life as an example, explaining how he struggled to accept ministry despite it being part of God's plan.
Back then, my phone didn’t have a good camera, so my friend Aoife McLaughlin filmed with her phone that day and directed me through the whole process. It's been over a year now, and I've seen so much growth in many ways!
Today, I watch this video and feel so proud of myself, but a year ago, I was struggling to begin this new chapter of life. You might be struggling to start your journey because you never thought of it or saw yourself in it. But have you asked yourself what God wants for you? Remember, it won’t be easy when you start, but one day you will be proud you took the first step. I am not there yet, but today I celebrate myself for the decision I took over a year ago, which has helped so many people. Guess what , I've hit 100 videos on YouTube!
