Wouldn’t it be amazing if AI could handle some of the repetitive duties, like site visits, checking drawings, and tracking site progress?

We could focus more on administration, planning, and decision-making instead of running around.
So why be afraid if it can replace or take over some tasks? Do we think our work is limited to certain activities, or do we doubt our own capabilities?

It’s not about replacing humans or the work of professionals; it’s just about making our jobs smarter, safer, and more efficient.

We’re often called Quantity Surveyor, Cost Manager, Estimator, Project Surveyor, or Cost Consultant… and it’s time to truly recognize the value of the Quantity Surveying profession.

We are a blend of consultant, contractor, economist, accountant, lawyer, engineer, financial expert, and more. Next time you meet a QS, remember the diverse skills we bring to the table. Let’s give this profession the well-deserved respect it earns! 👷‍♂️🏡

From demolition in 2023 to standing here in 2025 at practical completion — it’s been quite a journey.

Seeing the progress side by side is a reminder of why this work feels so rewarding.

Construction project only reaches this stage because so many people bring their best. The teamwork, coordination, problemsolving, it all adds up. I am proud to have played my part and grateful for everyone who contributed along the way.

Moments like these make the long days worth it. 👏

This is a short visit to Islamabad and this time, I’ll be meeting students and young professionals at these two universities only.

Met Patrick in Dubai and learned about his exciting projects. It’s inspiring to see how Noble QS Project Solutions has grown under his leadership. He shared the successful delivery of a six-building project for Innovo Group, marking a significant milestone in his career and journey as a company manager.
