TONIGHT!!!! This is my first new Power FM Show in a while so don't miss it! Due to some personal stuff going on, 2024 sucking, and getting the flu at Christmas for TWO FECKING WEEKS 😭 I have been off the radar for a couple of months. But I have a brand new show for you tonight and will have lots of varied guests throughout the year too. Which brings me to the first 2hrs of my show, a mix from the lovely and brilliant Acidfairy:
Acidfairy is a UK-based Acid Techno DJ and producer who has been a significant figure in the electronic music scene since the 1990s. Her dynamic career has taken her across the UK, Europe, and the Americas, where she has captivated audiences with her unique sound and energetic performances.
She emerged on the UK Free Party scene in the 90s, a time when acid techno was gaining substantial momentum. Her deep passion for the genre and her exceptional skills behind the decks quickly earned her a dedicated following. She became a staple in the underground music scene, known for her ability to blend pulsating acid lines with hard-hitting techno beats
She can be found on several techno radio outlets including with her husband Sprokit as duo Under The Influence and in person as a resident for Collide Birmingham. She has played at notable events such as Boomtown and the Collide Summer Gathering and is an advocate for female representation in the DJ industry and actively supports upcoming female DJs through mentorship and collaborative projects and in her work with the Siren Project
