We’re not sure how it happened, but somewhere along the way, an illiterate sub-editor (aren’t they all? – Ed) dropped an O. Wrote it down as Hot Press – and by some mischance that name stuck. Well, we are no longer prepared to put up with this usurpation of the noble cause of making Ireland safe for playing bridge and doing crochet. And so we have formed this breakaway, rebel group. From here on in, we will be running our very own page. And make no mistake, we mean business. For years, every time we put something that people were intended to laugh at on the page with the missing O, we’d get dogs abuse from morons who don’t know how to take a joke. There, folks, we had to tread carefully. Here we can safely say: if you can’t take a joke, go play with a Black Mamba snake. They’re delicious grilled on a barbecue and served with a lemon and honey sauce – if you can strangle ‘em before they kill you, that is.
