A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to attend course on Directing for High-end Episodic Drama. The group of directors were fantastic and we got to film some scenes with the uber talented actors Linda Ryan & William Morgan and was shot by fantastic DoP Keith Pendred. Diarmuid's has just been released on also so check it out! Thanks to eveyone & Creative Industries Skillnet for putting on another amazing course 👏

SCRAP METAL is an animated short film being created by Richard Keane and Darko Mitev with Out Left Productions. The short was developed by using the latest motion capture technology from Perception Neuron and exploring the integration of the Unreal Engine with our pre-existing Maya pipeline to create a feature quality short.

This project was supported by Screen Ireland, Animation Ireland and the Cultural & Creative Industries Skillnet through the Animation Innovation & Immersive Development Fund 2022.

We are very proud to announce that we are one of the 10 recipients of the Animation Innovation and Immersive Development Fund from Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland in partnership with Animation Ireland and the support of Immersive Technologies Skillnet. It was a fantastic launch in the convention centre on Friday at the Furthr Festival. Here is a Storyboard to Final Film comparison for a couple of scenes in CHICKEN OUT. The majority of the film was storyboarded so we would shoot only what was needed in the tight 3 day schedule of filming. Storyboards were created and edited by the director, Richard Keane.

CHICKEN OUT is screening tonight in the Wexford Arts Centre before the main feature 'Two Of Us'. Writer Imelda Carroll will be there to talk about the film 🎬🎥🐔

We have a short film next Tuesday (March 8 @ 8pm) to be screened before our main feature, 'Two of Us'. 'Chicken Out' is a multi award-winning comedy short directed by Richard Keane of Out Left Productions, from a screenplay by local writer Imelda Carroll. Imelda will be with us on the night to tell us how her story went from page to screen.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that NJAP has won the "Intertrade Ireland Seedcorn Best New Start Company" for the Dublin region with an award of €20,000 to turn the "Not Just a Princess" book series into an animated TV series!
We are very proud partners with this exciting new company and we are now in the finals with the possibility to win a further €30,000! This award would allow us to make the teaser and bring it to market, so to say that we are excited is an understatement!
