Dziękujemy za wspaniały poniedziałkowy program z ABC EduLibrary - Polska Biblioteka w Cork



Mieliśmy ogromną przyjemność ponownie gościć Alicję i Asię z ABC EduLibrary w programie Porozmawiajmy po polsku na falach Cork City Community Radio 100.5 FM. To była godzina pełna inspirujących rozmów o książkach, edukacji i dwujęzyczności!



Podczas audycji miałyśmy okazję porozmawiać o fascynujących książkach dostępnych w ABC EduLibrary, które zachwycają zarówno dzieci, jak i rodziców. Wśród nich znalazły się m.in. klasyczne i współczesne tytuły, które rozwijają wyobraźnię i wspierają rozwój emocjonalny najmłodszych.

We had the great pleasure of welcoming Alicja and Asia from ABC EduLibrary back on the Let’s Talk in Polish program on Cork City Community Radio 100.5 FM. It was an hour filled with inspiring discussions about books, education, and bilingualism!



During the show, we had the opportunity to talk about the fascinating books available at ABC EduLibrary, which captivate both children and parents. Among them were classic and contemporary titles that spark imagination and support the emotional development of young ones.

During the program, we talked about the game Secrets of the Folk Chest, illustrated by Dominika Piekarska-O'Connell, our previous guest, who kindly donated the game to ABC EduLibrary. It's a unique game where children can develop their knowledge through play and interaction.

A few months ago we had some members of ZHP Cork in with us on the "Let's Talk Polish" programme.

In light of the recent flooding across central Europe, they've made an appeal for help with their relief efforts. We'd appreciate it if you could check out the post below and help in any way you can - even sharing their post could help it reach more people.

Czuwaj! Próbujemy zorganizować zbiórkę rzeczy potrzebnych ludziom na Dolnym Śląsku i w innych rejonach dotkniętych powodziami. Sytuacja się pogarsza i kataklizm ma już status klęski żywiołowej.

Na chwilę obecną najbardziej potrzebny jest magazyn lub inna lokalizacja w której będziemy mogli zebrać i sortować rzeczy. Jeśli ktoś może z tym pomóc (lub ma namiar na kogoś) można się skontaktować przez naszą stronę lub zadzwonić na 089 239 5911.

Sortowaniem i pakowaniem zajmą się harcerze i harcerki z naszej drużyny, ale oczywiście każda dodatkowa pomoc też się przyda.
Później będzie trzeba wszystko zawieźć do Dublina, a stamtąd do Polski zabierze to ekipa, z którą jesteśmy już w kontakcie.

Prosimy całą polonię oraz wszystkie firmy i organizacje polonijne w Cork o pomoc w tej sytuacji. Nawet udostępnienie tego posta będzie ogromną pomocą!
