📣 Road Closure Notice📣

📍 In preparation for European Maritime Day’s to Play, which will take place on May 23 and 24th, Kennedy Quay will be closed from the Victoria Road Junction to Furlong Street from May 17th to May 27th to facilitate the this event.

🚗 Vehicle access will be maintained to Kennedy Quay below Furlong Street, via Marina Walk and Mill Street. Pedestrian access to Marina Market will be via Centre Park Road.

We were delighted to be nominated for the 2025 Lord Mayor Community and Voluntary Awards and even more delighted to win the award in the Climate Action, Active Travel and Sustainable Development category. Thanks to our super supporters. Well done to the excellent other voluntary groups in our category - Blackpool Tidy Village Group and Ballyphehane Community Association. It was a great night!

Kicking things off this morning at 12pm we have white smoke from the studio, as our news panel will be here to discuss a selection of national and international news stories.

Followed at 1pm by our weekly film music show - this week's show will hopefully be a taking a look at the varied career of Julieanne Moore.

And then at 2pm we'll have Ubuntu Vibrations Radio - a great show where the Ubuntu crew explore topics affecting them personally, and the wider African diaspora.
