Its official folks. Dana White broke the news that Cork boxing sensation Callum Walsh will fight in Dublin Ireland at the 3Arena on Friday September 20th.

Walsh will take on Poland's Przemyslaw Runowski with a huge undercard to be announced very soon indeed. We hope his fellow Corkmen Gary Spike O'Sullivan Tommy Hyde Steven Cairns and Cathal Crowley get the nod. More details to come soon via undercard.

What a weekend it's been for new World No.60 and Irish snooker sensation Aaron Hill. On Saturday the Corkman beat Scotland's Chris Totten 5-2 to qualify for the 2024 China Grand Prix and moments ago Hill defeated Ashley Carty 5-2 to qualify for the 2024 Wuhan China OPEN.

Corkman Jake O'Brien on the brink of €24m move to Everton FC.

Youghal man and former Cork City FC and current Olympique Lyonnais - OL centre back Jake O'Brien is on the brink of joining Premier League side Everton Football Club.

The deal is expected to be completed within the next 48 hours. O'Brien was one of the stars in Ligue 1 McDonald's last season staring for Lyon. He also made his FAIreland debut against Hungary a number of weeks ago.

Ireland have won the prestigious 2024 World Darts Federation Boys European Cup Championships beating Holland in the final.

Ireland were behind 5-3 to the Netherlands in the final, but Ireland powered back with huge displays with Callum Coade, Aidan O'Hara, Sean McKeon and Shane Porter winning six of the next eight legs to seal the title 9-7. Well done to everyone involved, this is a huge achievement.

FAIreland International and former Ringmahon Rangers AFC & Preston North End Football Club captain Alan Browne has joined Sunderland AFC on a three year deal.

The PNE player of the year and Irish International leaves Preston after 10 years at the club. It's believed a number of clubs in Italy, Turkey, UK including Scottish giants Celtic FC wanted to sign the Corkman.
