Lockdown Models is owned and driven by it’s two young Directors Emer O’Sullivan & Vivienne Kelly. Emer & Vivienne befriended while working at the Irish Examiner/Evening Echo in 2005. Emer worked in Advertising Sales & moved onto work with local radio station RedFM while Vivienne’s background was Finance & Customer Service. Both girls had been models in Ireland for 13 years so decided to use their
professional backgrounds to open an agency with a very focused long-term goal & strong dream to modernise how Irish agencys were run. In their 5 years at the helm of Lockdown Models, they have established Cork Fashion Week, providing a platform for local fashion design students, graduates, hair stylists, fashion stylists, makeup artists, fashion bloggers etc. Lockdown not only now represent some of the most well known faces in Ireland from current & former Miss Corks & Miss Cork Universes, former Miss Kerry, Miss Tipperary, Miss Kilkenny but the agency also boast successful high end faces such as Jennifer Foley (also with Ford Paris, IMG London & 1st Options), Laura Keohane (from RTE’s The Model Agent), Kellie Forde (London & Paris) to name but a few. Lockdown Models also represent the winner of UCC’s Next Top Model each year. Both girls attribute the agency’s steady growth and success to hard work and a deep understanding of how their industry & services can benefit their vary of clients to help them grow and prosper.
