HRT ROLLOUT....

The National Women’s Council of Ireland has called on the Department of Health to clarify the reasons behind the delay in the implementation of free HRT products.

Originally promised in Budget 2025 to start in January, the rollout will now occur “as soon as possible,” as reported by the Irish Examiner on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Irish Pharmacy Union and the Irish Medical Organisation have stated that their members lack information regarding the scheme, despite GPs and pharmacists being responsible for its administration.
