Silent Journeys returns to Kinnitty Castle, gets a DVD release and goes global!
Silent Journeys, the Rex Ingram piece that was filmed in August will be broadcast in Kinnitty Castle on Friday 13th of November, from 7.30pm. This special screening takes place in the Drawing room where a number of the scenes were actually filmed.
To celebrate the success of the project, Offaly County Council are releasing a limited edition DVD on the night, an ideal stocking filler priced at €5.
As part of this multi media event, recorded interviews with Midlands 103 presenters Will Faulkner and Claire O’Brien will be presented to a back drop of images that were captured on the day, followed by a stream of the Irish TV documentary on the piece. The event is also going to be live streamed, further information on this can be found on www.facebook.com/rexkinnitty.
While the evening is free, advance confirmation is required as only 50 places are available, please call 083 3348230.
