#HumansofHubud - How to find work-life balance
#HumansofHubud Thursday:
If you havenโt already noticed, weโve been running a competition to give one person a chance to win 30 days at our coworking space here in beautiful Bali.
As a result of that, weโve received SO MANY amazing stories from you guys and itโs been putting a smile on our faces the last few days and inspired us tremendously.
More importantly, weโve had a chat with a couple of you lovely humans online. Youโve asked us about information to help you go remote, you shared your dreams to be location independent.
At the same time, you discussed your struggles, your concerns about the skills you possess and if you could make the transition happen.
Today, weโre here to share a little bit about our new member.
This is Casey Bartosiak. She has signed up for the Events membership package. Her past experience was hospitality management.

โI arrived in Ubud 2 months ago and I just havenโt left and no plans for leavingโ
So we asked Casey, what her days in Hubud has been like. She recounted last Tuesday.
โThere was a new members brunch. We introduced ourselves and got a background of Hubud. Right after that, there was an event regarding MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and the basics of a startup.โ
โIt was an interactive skill share and we ended up bouncing around ideas for our own start up. It helped so much because even though I didnโt have one initially, I ended up thinking of one..โ
โ(Being in) a small group of like-minded people, it just felt like there was no judgement. It was just great constructive feedbackโฆ In 5 minutes of talking to people, a thought became an idea. And I ended up thinking โI could actually do this. This is something I could do in my villa, som
