Rantisi was formed by Pian in 2012 who lives in Cikampek, Karawang. Rantisi is a Slamming death metal genre and is influenced by foreign bands such as KRANIUM, EXTERMINATION DISMEMBERMENT, ABOMINABLE PUTRIDITY, GUTTURAL SLUG, TRAUMATOMY, etc.
The name Rantisi is taken from the name of the founder of the Islamic military and political organization Hamas in Palestine, namely Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Rantissi. With the initial formation, namely Pian (pig-squeals), Iwey (guitar) and Wahyu Bewok (drums).
In 2014, Iwey (guitar) left due to his busy schedule, and Rantisi also experienced a hiatus until 2016, then in 2016 Pian (pig-squeals) revived with a new formation. And finally in 2021 they issued a demo promo which was released physically (CD) by Vandalism Record (Mojokerto).
