The Jurnal Ilmu Sosial Indonesia (JISI) is a peer-reviewed journal published by Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP) Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, that aims to facilitate scholarly work on contemporary theoretical and applied issues in the social and political sciences. These fields include, but are not limited to, political science, sociology, anthropology, international relations, public administration, cultural and gender studies. We accept submissions both one-country studies and comparative investigations. The journal also welcomes humanities-oriented articles that speak to relevant social issues. The JISI is an open-access journal that can be read and downloaded for free online. As a result, all published research articles will have increased visibility and will receive a greater number of citations.
