Our prayers go out for his departed soul to rest in eternal peace.

May God give strength to Rita Srivastava Jakarta⁩ and her family to bear this loss.

Wayang is one of the many cultural heritage traditions from Indonesia. The term "wayang" comes from the Javanese language, meaning 'shadow' or 'imagination.' Over 100 different types of wayang have developed and grown across Indonesia. Fortunately, we can explore a variety of wayang at the Wayang Museum in West Jakarta. The museum now features an immersive space and disability-friendly services. Wayang performances are planned to be held regularly, at least once a month. With affordable tickets, you can enjoy a range of Indonesian wayang from various regions, with explanations about the names and origins of the wayang that you can read.

This dining tradition originates from China and follows a unique practice. A single Yu Sheng plate is topped with various ingredients such as salmon, carrots, radishes, oranges, nuts, lime leaves, pickled red ginger, red peppers, plums, noodles, and more. As the meal begins, family members gather around the round table, using chopsticks to toss and mix the ingredients while lifting them as high as possible. This act symbolizes the belief that the higher the food is raised, the greater the fortune and prosperity it will bring.
