I got inspired to draw this kind of drawing after I’ve watched a Korean drama “It’s Okay Not to Be Okay.” The story told about the journey of Ko Mun-Yeong, as a fairy tale book writer, who found new meaning of her life after facing her past wounds. At the end of the story, they presented a fairy tale story “Finding The Real Face.”

The story was good, so were the illustrations. It really triggered me a lot to create a fairy tale kind of drawing with a great story. I didn’t know why, this picture popped up in my mind, so I quickly drew it. I called this drawing “The Child and The Talking Tree.”

What do you think? Is it also good as a title of fairy tale book?

This time I tried to draw a plant, called “Aglonema”. The Aglonema leaves have a beautiful color, a mix of green and a lil pink. I’ve also explored using diffrent shades of color (ex: light green, dark green, etc.), to make the dimensions richer.

There may be moments when your feet get stuck, freeze. You can barely walk, and even feel numb. But believe me, the weather will change, the cold will fade, the ice will melt, and surely you can break the ice to start taking fresh new steps.

"Oh my bed, make me sleep"

It's already more than 12 o'clock at night, but my eyes were still awake. I can't sleep at all. My mind went blank, and all I saw was my crumpled bed sheets. "Oh, the texture is good", I thought. Then, I took my apple pencil and started drawing.

Well, sometimes drawing can make you more relaxed and calm (until you get sleepy). Agree?

I was at udon restaurant and had finished my lunch, but I still had to wait for my mother to come. Then, I saw an interesting object to draw: udon broth soup called “Bukake Dashi.” So here it is, the result of my drawing practice!
