Collaborating with other artists always brings a project to the next level. Especially if you can be in the studio together. And that's exactly what happened with this one.
@kamusiks_ @kamastory @edrickginartha and myself were together at my home studio and spent a good day cooking to lay the foundation of what became "Bercumbu".
Being able to directly share ideas with the artists and try them out is what making music is really about in a way.

Been recording lotta music and content in only a week with my brother @kamusiks_ lately.
Just did it without any bigger ambition than recording something that we like and that we wanne share with people.
It's been a while since I had so much fun playing and making music. I believe that focusing on producing tracks/singles to release on a regular basis (even though not that consistent), kindda killed that feeling at times.
Those recent recording sessions reminded me it is important to go back to this kindda things.
Just wanted to drop that here and share some experience with the fellow producers community and whoever still read captions 😉
New rrack out 💥
Thus new single is a collaboration with @stevesjob_ that started with a few loops that he sent me. From that, I added some more elements and we worked together until we could call it a "wrap". We reached out to @chillhopguru who helped us releasing this tune.
It is a mix of R&B influences (on the drumbeat, the heavy sub bass line) and jazzy elements (piano licks especially) that result in a chill tune that will satisfy the Lofi Hip-Hop fans out there.

Starting from scratch with some loops that Shawn sent me, it evolved into a very calm and relaxing tune.
Its soft chords, asian flavored melodies, and smooth a drum beat that will bring you peace of mind.

I'm very happy to have this one out!
This collaborative track is a very special project initiated by @its_shawn_toolate called "Pass the track".
The concept is quite simple : one of the 4 producers involved started working on the track with some specific prompt, and pass it to the next one who has to had something to the tune and so on.
So, together with @mxxwllmusic and @exhibitionlofi we worked on this track without directly communicating with each other. The result is this very smooth and relaxing tune called "Silent Rooftop" 🏙
It was a new experience for me. And a challenging one, as each of us had only 3 days to work our magic and put our best effort to it!
