Thus new single is a collaboration with @stevesjob_ that started with a few loops that he sent me. From that, I added some more elements and we worked together until we could call it a "wrap". We reached out to @chillhopguru who helped us releasing this tune.
It is a mix of R&B influences (on the drumbeat, the heavy sub bass line) and jazzy elements (piano licks especially) that result in a chill tune that will satisfy the Lofi Hip-Hop fans out there.

This collaborative track is a very special project initiated by @its_shawn_toolate called "Pass the track".
The concept is quite simple : one of the 4 producers involved started working on the track with some specific prompt, and pass it to the next one who has to had something to the tune and so on.
So, together with @mxxwllmusic and @exhibitionlofi we worked on this track without directly communicating with each other. The result is this very smooth and relaxing tune called "Silent Rooftop" 🏙
It was a new experience for me. And a challenging one, as each of us had only 3 days to work our magic and put our best effort to it!

On the 7th of February 1974, Jun Seba (aka Nujabes) was born.
He was such a big influence to many artists in the lofi hip-hop scene, myself included, that I just wanted to give him a small tribute.
"Battlecry" is the first track I've ever heard from the Japanese artist. I loved the jazzyness of the track, and Shing02's flow was so interesting to me too. That's why I chose to give a try and create a short remix version of the tune.

It is easy to get demotivated when issues raise on the way. But we need to remember, every time we solve one, we get better and closer to the final goal we want to reach.
That's I love hiking as a reminder of this. It is the most basic physical interpretation of the caption written on this video. Walking to reach a specific point. Some bits might be steeper but it won't stop me from getting where I wanna be.
