Small churches hidden away in a picturesque maze of winding paths and stairs.

Traditional taverns painted in shades of ochre, terracotta, and dusty blue.

Locals chatting from their balconies across narrow, stone-paved alleys, adorned with contemporary street art.

An enchanting blend of Byzantine and Ottoman-era monuments transpiring from every corner of the city.

And of course, cats lounging everywhere, adding their own charm to the Thessaloniki's eclectic appeal.

I can't say a thing about attractions and sights of Thessaloniki but I know all the good taverns & cafés 🤤😁

48 hours in Thessaloniki are enough to have a perfect, yummy, gastro weekend 👌 Here are some recommendations:

📍Tsinari Tavern (great food, fast service, excellent local wine & cute cats)
📍 Bougatsa Bantis (ideal to try a typical brekkie - bougatsa)
📍 Choux & Profiterole (create your own yummy profiterole)
📍 The Greek (great food and wine, fast service, lovely ambience)
📍 MONO (lots of west-style brunch and brekkie options)
