The extension of IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 implementation to 1 January 2025 have bought some much-needed time for listed companies, multinational corporations and financial services companies in Hong Kong to get suitably equipped with a communications plan able to meet stakeholders’ requirements. However, the stakes are high and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Not only do registered institutions (RIs) have to plan for these standards, the HKMA has issued a circular with respect to RIs’ sale and distribution of green and sustainable investment products, which they are expected to review and make necessary enhancements to their procedures by no later than 29 November 2024.

AI and VR are transforming the way we live and work.

Last week we were honored to invite Karen Khaw, founder of specialist virtual consultancy V-Engage (Consulting), a member consultancy of the Global Commtrepreneurs Network, to join our Lunch-and-Learn session. Karen shared her valuable insights on integrating the latest AI and VR developments into the workplace and outlined the various ways these innovations could change how we work in the future.

We were able to gain first-hand experience of the interaction between virtual and physical worlds by trying out the Meta Quest 3 headset and look forward to embracing these tools as we continue to learn more.

We completed the celebrations with a traditional dim sum lunch.
