Free-D Workshop is seeking IT Administrator / IT Support to work on feature film
Responsibilities:
Maintain, upgrade and manage the software, hardware (including render farm) and networks.
Perform user account administration and workstation setup.
Support end-users in the office for all IT related issues.
Identify and diagnose hardware/software faults, and troubleshoot the issues.
Perform regular system backups and implement data recovery procedures.
Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets, ensuring proper documentation and licensing compliance.
Requirements:
3 years minimum related experience required
Diploma or above in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent
Good knowledge of cyber security
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows (7 & 10), Windows Server, and Linux
Proficient in network administration and troubleshooting (LANs, WANs, VPN, TCP/IP, Switches and Routers, firewall, Wi-Fi and access points etc.)
Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently
Able to communicate in English (writing and speaking) and Cantonese
Any of the following is an advantage:
Proficiency in managing Linux-based render farm systems, such as Deadline or Tractor.
Familiarity with industry-standard post-production software, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Autodesk Maya, and Nuke.
