GAC recently unveiled the ERA Concept car, a collaborative effort of the Chinese automaker’s global teams, including Advanced Design Los Angeles and Milan. The full-size 4WD crossover SUV features hydrogen fuel cells and 200kw distributed motors on the rear axle. The body is designed with an aerodynamic kit made from marine recycled plastic and seaweed bio-based materials. The boldly stylish interior hails clever design innovation: welcoming lights bathe the interior when the doors open; the front seats can rotate to face the rear; a central console that transforms into a tabletop, among others.
