Auction Sites
Online auction sites are a highly popular way of buying and selling both new and second hand goods. There are, however, risks associated with using auction sites – some of which are different from normal online shopping. Therefore you need to take care with what you are buying and from whom, who you are selling to, and how you pay for your purchases or get paid for items you are selling.
For details on using online auctions safely, visit https://www.getsafeonline.gy/personal/articles/auction-sites/

Data Encryption
If your confidential data and communications (for example emails) are accessed by individuals or other organisations not authorised to see them, the consequences can be very damaging … fraud, identity theft, espionage and non-compliance with data protection rules being frequent examples. If your business has confidential data and/or sends and receives confidential email, you should consider encryption as a means of protecting them from such unauthorised access.

𝐌𝐬. 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐰𝐬 - 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫, 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐰𝐨

Ms. Mathews has been in the education sector for over 40 years. As the Regional Education Officer for Region Two Ms. Mathews' role is to advise the Regional Democratic Council on education matters so that relevant actions can be taken and issues mitigated. She is also responsible for the preparation and ex*****on of a well-crafted budget for the region to ensure the smooth delivery of education.

Additionally, she monitors and supervises curriculum delivery and the day-to-day function of the sector in the region.

𝐇𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧:
"As a woman in education, it is my firm belief that all women should strive for independence. My advice will be to empower yourself through a sound education.
A sound education is one of the most powerful assets a person can possess. Nelson Mandela said it is, "the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world" starting with your own life. When a woman educates herself, she arms herself with a powerful weapon that she can wield to create the life she desires for herself, her family and her community.

Explore knowledge and skills that interest you and do your best in association with these. Internet technology has made it easier and cheaper for us to learn new things and to acquire certifications from international and now local colleges and universities. Take full advantage of these and finally let God oversee your every decision."
