Our Story
The Guyana Learning Channel Trust is a satellite communication network that facilitates the production and nationwide broadcast of educational programmes. The network is intended to reach all communities in Guyana. Funded by the Government of Guyana, the Guyana Learning Channel Trust was launched on April 1, 2011, established with Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and Open Education assumptions ascribing to Creative Commons copyright principles. "Just imagine an Amerindian village being able, with one television set in the school... to see the best Maths or Science teacher in the country taking them through equations in the village." - FORMER PRESIDENT OF GUYANA DR.
