CPL T20 2024 UPDATE: Terrance the hero for TKR!

Terrance Hinds played arguably the shot of his career, hitting Jason Holder for six off the penultimate ball of the match to seal victory for Trinbago Knight Riders against Barbados Royals.

Holder was entrusted with the ball to defend 11 off the final over, but delivered a waist-high full toss on the fourth delivery that was deemed a no-ball.

With four required off the final two balls, Hinds dispatched the Free Hit for a 'maximum' to end the Royals unbeaten run in the tournament and silence a raucous home crowd at Kensington Oval.

The defeat for the Royals means the defending champions Guyana Amazon Warriors remain the only unbeaten team this year.

SUMMARY: Barbados Royals 156-7 from 20 overs (Rovman Powell 59*, Quinton de K**k 39, David Miller 19, Rivaldo Clarke 18, Keshav Maharaj 14; Waqar Salamkheil 3-13, Sunil Narine 2-16, Akeal Hosein 2-29) vs Trinbago Knight Riders 159-8 from 19.5 overs (Nicholas Pooran 35, Shaqkere Parris 35, Keacy Carty 32, Akeal Hosein 20, Terrance Hinds 14*; Maheesh Theekshana 3-26, Obed McCoy 2-30)

Dr. Gill said she was motivated to give back to the school, simply because the institution, located in Queenstown, Georgetown, played a significant role in her upbringing and development.

Additionally, the school also received a microwave from Secure Innovations and Concepts Inc.

Headmistress Shonnette Pompey expressed gratitude to the benefactors, noting that the items received will advance the learning process at the school.
