As we commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the inaugural release of Nous Disques, it is with a heavy heart that I share the news of our final release. Over the course of a decade, I have been fortunate enough to collaborate with incredibly gifted musicians and form enduring friendships. The support I have received throughout this journey has surpassed all my expectations.

Although all good things must come to an end, I am immensely grateful for the incredible experiences we have had with the label over the past 10 years. I want to express my sincere appreciation to each and every person who has played a part in our journey.

This closing chapter serves as a reminder that life is transient, and we must cherish the moments we have. I am filled with profound gratitude for the opportunities and achievements Nous Disques has witnessed.

It is my earnest desire to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved and especially to : Simeon Nomidis, Kasia Sobocinska, Jo & Black Athena, Corinne Lutonadio, Miltiades, Jose Rico, Rushhour, Ilias Pitsios, Dimitris Varvantakis, Piotr, Polyxene and bill Kouligas.

Taru is a musical project by Italian artist Ruggero Lambo.
Originally from Sicily, he currently lives in Milan, Italy. He approaches composition is minimal, based on arpeggiator, melodic research and spatiality of sound.
Concepts found his research are also the relationship with the future, machines and perception of time.

Hngwy - Sourced Sustain EP (us028)

For the ever progressive Nous Disques latest foray into steely, hyperborean techno the imprint have summoned Hngwy, no stranger to tension, sparsity and deep emotive basswork. Sourced Sustain is the five tracker they have come up with that manages to encompass shade and light within a taut scripted narrative that uses signature rhythmic traction spliced with bass inflections that underpin each hunk of sound. Highlights are the mesmeric and hyperkinetic Bolt, the exotic Lumlung and the epic titular Sourced Sustain, but indulged in as a whole the EP is its own imperator.
