Ο Wave 97.4 αποτελεί τον πιο δημοφιλή Rock σταθμό της Δυτικής Ελλάδας. O Rock Σταθμός της Δυτικής Ελλάδας.

Από το 2005 με την έναρξη λειτουργίας του, ο Wave 97.4 αποπνέει μια ιδιαίτερη δυναμική. Είναι ο σημαντικότερος μουσικός ραδιοφωνικός σταθμός στην ευρύτερη περιοχή της Δυτικής Ελλάδας, με μουσικές που κινούνται σε όλο το φάσμα της Rock, δίνοντας έμφαση στο τώρα αλλά και στο χθες, από τις δεκαετίες του ’60 μέχρι και το σήμερα. Ο σταθμός ουσιαστικά εντάσσεται στη κατηγορία ΑΑΑ (Adult Album Alternative), ένα φορμάτ που διαθέτει πολύ ευρύτερο μουσικό playlist, οπου ξεχωρίζει, δε φοβάται, προτείνει και εν τέλει δημιουργεί πιστό ακροατήριο, το εκπαιδεύει! Φυσικά, τα τραγούδια είναι σε συντριπτική πλειοψηφία γνωστά και αγαπημένα, μα αυτό το μικρό ποσοστό «τόλμης», να προτείνεις δηλαδή το νέο ή το άγνωστο, είναι αυτό που κάνει τον Wave 97.4 να ξεχωρίζει και να ηγείται.
