* Online store Soul Traits is a screen printing and creative studio based in Patras, Greece.

The studio began back in 2017, when it started publishing an independent collective art magazine that focused on showcasing work by artists from all over the globe covering the fields of illustration, photography, collage, comics, and inventive writing. In its printed pages, the mag featured an eclectic range of international creators, both established and emerging. The theme of each issue was def

ined by an initial project; a starting point for creating that took the contributing artists into different experimental and exploratory directions. The release of the publication, distributed in selected bookstores and galleries around Europe, led to the organisation of events and festivals featuring the participating artists. For example, exhibitions of the artists took place at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and at Soundtrope Festival in Ioannina, Greece. Today, Soul Traits specialise in printing on fabric, but are open to working with a variety of media and collaborative projects. Their processes are entirely manual and eco-friendly, and all of their t-shirts hand printed in limited quantities using water-based inks.

The team experimented with etching on plexiglass and CD pieces and got to know the difficulties of intaglio printing.

The students, while listening to an audio sample based on the myth of Narcissus and Echo, drew and carved their work on linoleum, each approaching the subject from a different perspective.

Οι μαθητές με αφορμή ηχητικό ερέθισμα που θέμα του είχε τον μύθο του Νάρκισσου και της Ηχούς, σχεδίασαν και χάραξαν σε λινόλεο το έργο τους προσεγγίζοντας το θέμα απο διαφορετική οπτική ο καθένας.

Εργαστήριο εικαστικών τεχνών για παιδιά 6 χρονών και πάνω.

Ζωγραφική με κάρβουνο.
Παρατηρήσαμε τις πρώτες σπηλαιογραφίες των αρχαίων ανθρώπων και γνωρίσαμε τους φόβους τους.
Καθώς το κάρβουνο ήταν το πρώτο υλικό που χρησιμοποίησε ο άνθρωπος για να ζωγραφίσει, έτσι και μεις ζωγραφίσαμε με κάρβουνο τους φόβους που έχουμε εμείς...
Ύστερα ζωγραφίσαμε ομαδικά την δική μας σπηλαιογραφία!

Our Story

Soul Traits is a 2-part project that houses an independent publication of contemporary art and a T-shirt brand - screen printing studio.

Our screen printing studio is based in Patras, Greece. We are passionate about the screen printing technique and its possibilities and although we specialise in printing on fabric, we are open to work on all types of media and participate in all kinds of projects. Our processes are completely manual and eco-friendly. We emphasize on people over product. Our main goal is to bring cultures and communities together - it's not about clothes, it is about stories and relationships. That is why much of the brand narrative is told through collaborations, with artists such as Lola Dupre and Twee Muizen. Soul Traits zine covers the fields of illustration, photography, collage and creative writing. In its printed pages, it features an eclectic range of international creators, both established and emerging. The theme of each issue is defined by an initial project, a starting point for creating that takes the contributing artists into different experimental and exploratory directions.
