The Grindhouse Nemesis 412 is captured from a Randall Amplifiers® 4x12 cabinet outfitted with Celestion Speakers® Vintage 30 drivers.
This cab was the main touring cab for George Bokos when on tour with Rotting Christ and it’s also the principal cab used on the seminal album “Theogonia”!

"Blue mallets" is a one take live recording from Panos Vassilopoulos over a late night Piano improvisation that George Bokos did during Summer of 2022 at the studio.
Very minimal processing is being used on this track and mostly focusing on the neutral sound captured by sE Electronics microphones 💯

Ukrainian progressive groove metallers Jinjer came by Grindhouse Studios Athens for a photo session as they wanted to have the Acropolis in the background.
It was really great meeting these great people and talented musicians !
A moment just right before their amazing appearance at Release Athens where music and cultures collide, the message is one : Free Ukraine !

This is our new custom 3 way main studio monitor and they sound...... A M A Z I N G !!! 🔊 🔊
They are HUGE and they sound HUGE !!! 🔈🔈
We are totally blown away....
We can not describe it with words...
Studio monitor speaker builder Grigoris Karakatsanis has done literally a magnificent work !!!
High quality finish will be done in the next weeks and they will be soon installed at our Studio.

Great moments from the drum recording session for the Los Angeles based rockers Black Kaiser at Grindhouse Studios Athens.
I always love working with Dinos Roulos from Nightstalker.
We came up with some great and huge sounding drums using his kit in combination with the Studio's cymbals and micing with sE Electronics 😉
