As part of the renewed digital strategy for Arktos Yacht, we were called in to create original, bespoke content that evidences the versatile character of the 34.6m custom built, classically-designed sailing yacht.

⛵ Besides targeted marketing videos, the visual content we produced included photographs captured from the ground and the air to serve as digital assets for organic social media marketing and the yacht's digital brochure.

to when we created the concept for and photographed the cover for issue sixty-six of ERMIS magazine.

Can you guess what the feature story was about? 👀

Our approach was a deconstructed rendition of vinification (winemaking), from grapes to glass, encapsulating all the following in the same photograph:

🍇 collection of the principal raw material,
🍾 sealing of bottles with corks, and
🍷 opening a wine bottle with a corkscrew and enjoying a glass

🦁 At the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2022, the Grand Prix went to ‘The Wish’ for Penny, a German discount supermarket chain. Based on an idea by the advertising agency Serviceplan Munich, the film became a cultural and social media talking point, with # PENNY trending on Twitter and over 4.1 million views on YouTube and 1.4 million views on Instagram.

The idea behind the film might seem simple, yet the audiovisual language used to communicate it is innovative and powerful:

"What do you really want for Christmas?" To her teenage son's question, a mother gives an unexpected answer. She wishes him, after almost two years of the pandemic, his youth back, with everything that comes with it...

The German discount supermarket chain committed to ‘repay’ youth in a powerful film that showed the life they missed out on due to the pandemic by giving back to them in the form of 5,000 intensive adventures and defining experiences.

🎥 Worth watching this short film is a remarkable example of bold, engaging storytelling that resonates profoundly with audiences. It is also a good reminder to all of us that content creation should rely as much as possible on showing rather than telling.

🏆 The spectacular Panathenaic Stadium was home to the first Modern Olympic Games in 1896.

Also known as "Kallimarmaro" (made of fine marble), it still remains the only stadium in the world built entirely out of marble! 🪨

Issue 76 of Ermis magazine paid tribute to the legacy of the Olympic Games. Tasked with the conception of an original cover, we opted for a geometrical composition of the tiered, semicircular seating space that remains one of the most iconic and internationally-recognised cultural staples of Ancient Greece. 🏛️

🎥 M21 FILMS was invited to transform Ms Matthews’ statement into an engaging yet honest virtual video tour of the Lower School. The aim was to enable as many prospective parents and students as possible, gain first-hand (virtual) access to the school’s warm and welcoming teaching facilities.

A balanced mix of ground-based and aerial cinematography techniques were deployed in order to accent St. Catherine’s British School’s unique learning environment. 🚌

The Camino de Santiago or “the Way of St. James” is a pilgrimage to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, a region in the northwest of Spain. 🏃‍♂️ 



According to the medieval legend, the remains of Apostle Saint James the Great were buried there until they were discovered by a shepherd in the 9th century. The Camino de Santiago has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage for its important role in encouraging cultural exchanges between people from all over the globe for many centuries. 🌎 



Today, besides a pilgrimage the Camino de Santiago is a unique, once-in-a-lifetime, spiritual experience. 🏃‍♀️



M21 FILMS was tasked with the production of a web promo showcasing “TheOcamino For Desmos”, a venture organised in close collaboration with Δεσμός - Desmos in order to raise donations for its work. Our vision was to create an engaging storytelling experience for the viewer by blending live-action with archival footage and an immersive sound design.
